How a Bench Session Actually Runs
Every fitting follows the same four stages, whether you're booking a single club or a full bag assessment.
Swing Signature Capture
We start with a short set of practice swings using your own clubs — no equipment changes yet. This establishes your tempo ratio, load timing, and general delivery pattern, so every later comparison has a real baseline to measure against.
Deflection Board Testing
Candidate shafts are tested on the board for spine location, static frequency, and tip-to-butt deflection, independent of any head. This narrows the field to a short list before we ever put a ball in the air.
On-Range Verification
The shortlisted shaft-and-head combinations are hit live with a tracking unit to confirm carry distance, dispersion, and strike consistency actually match what the board predicted.
Build & Bench Sign-Off
Clubs are assembled in-house and checked against their frequency and swingweight targets before you pick them up, typically within a week, with a signed build ticket for your records.
What the Deflection Board Actually Shows You
The board display sits where you can see it, so shaft comparisons happen in front of you rather than behind a curtain. Instead of being told one shaft "feels" more consistent, you watch the frequency and deflection readings change as candidates are swapped in and out.
